Descriptions Level 1 Classes Gentle Hot Yoga - Influenced by the research of Bikram Choudhury, Gentle Hot Yoga is a series of 26 poses set in a specific sequence and performed in a heated room. This yoga is performed with synchronized deep rhythmic breathing and movement; linking traditional hatha yoga postures together in a sequenced order. Students work at their own level in each posture and will be shown variations as needed. Prior yoga experience is not required. Youll sweat out toxins, increase physical and mental strength, and create muscle-skeletal balance. Based on proven physiological responses of the human body to induce a state of deep quiet. Drink plenty of water the day of practice and after. Please bring your own mat, towel, and water. Hatha
Yoga - One
of our most popular classes because it is great for beginners and those who are advanced
in their practice. In Hatha Yoga we work with one asana (pose) at a time, with an emphasis
on flexibility, balance and proper body alignment. If your body is too tight, too
stressed, overused and abused, Hatha is the place for you. Level
2 Classes Core Pilates - 30 minutes of traditional abdominal and lower back strength movements exercises for the abs, obliques, and back muscles resulting in improved posture, increased balance and strengthening of muscles that are used in daily life activites. Flexibility, injury prevention and stamina through core strengthening and flexibility exercises, as well as visualization methods. Higher performance is achieved without adding unwanted bulk. Back pain is commonly reduced or eliminated. Core Pilates has been shown to speed recovery of most muscle and joint injuries. In fact, Pilates was originally designed to assist injured patients. This class is free when attending the class that immediately follows. Gentle Hot Yoga II- This yoga is performed with synchronized deep rhythmic breathing and movement; linking traditional hatha yoga postures together in a sequenced order with sun salutations in between postures. Students work at their own level in each posture and will be shown variations as needed. Postures linked into a flow and held in a room heated to mid-ninety degrees. Drawing from Iyengar-inspired vinyasa (flow), this class includes focus on alignment and breath and often includes pranayama practice. Please bring your own mat, towel, and water. Hatha Flow - offers a
truly unique yoga practice. It heals, detoxifies and exhilarates the body and mind with
emphasis on movement, balance and intention. It is dynamic, challenging program that
combines strength, sweat and flexibility. Our role is to guide students to make
their practice their own and their intention personal. As is often said in class, I
am only here to be your guide. You know your body best, listen to it and follow your

Based Vinyasa - This method of Yoga
involves synchronizing the breath with progressive series of posturesa process
producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and
organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. Hot Vinyasa - This yoga is performed with synchronized deep rhythmic breathing and movement; linking traditional hatha yoga postures together in a sequenced order with sun salutations in between postures. Students work at their own level in each posture and will be shown variations as needed. Prior yoga experience is recommended, but not required. Postures linked into a flow and held in a room heated to mid-ninety degrees. Drawing from Iyengar-inspired vinyasa (flow), this class includes focus on alignment and breath and often includes pranayama practice. Challenging class open to all levels.
