Kristina Long -
Kristina
Kristina's journey into yoga was sporadic at 1st covering at least a decade. Each time she came back with more of a personal interest. In 2007 she sought out yoga to help her cope with the stress in her life. Kristina's practice has continued to deepen since that time to include the spiritual aspects of yoga and has brought about many life changing benefits in the process. As a single full time mother of two, yoga has brought much needed balance and peace to her hectic life. In hopes of sharing this gift with others, Kristina took her yoga instructor training in Sept. 2009 and is a registered yoga instructor at the 200 hr level with The Yoga Alliance. Kristina also holds her NASM Personal Trainer certification and esthetics license and recently added Thai yoga therapy. She plans to continue to learn and grow on her yogic journey and share the gifts she’s received in her own practicewith others so that they too may experience more peace, healing, joy and excitement in their lives.
Maris Aylword -
Maris
My yoga journey began back home in the Philippines in 2003.  Starting a yoga practice and radically changing my diet and habits were among the best decisions I’ve made in my life.  In Manila, I explored different styles such as Ashtanga, Bikram, Iyengar, and Vinyasa Flow. As I practiced over the years, I discovered how to nurture myself, to listen to my body, and to be simply grateful for whatever the present moment brings. Yoga started out as a physical activity and slowly evolved into a deeper practice that helps my psychological and spiritual growth. Upon moving to the U.S. in 2010, I began my yoga teacher training and completed Yoga Fit Levels 1 and 2.  I plan to continue my yoga education and pursue my 200 RYT.  It brings me great joy to share yoga with my students and to witness them enjoying the many benefits of this wonderful practice.

Amelia Dvorak -

Hot yoga is my passion! My yoga experience began over 5 years ago in California with Bikram Yoga. After experiencing the life changing benefits of hot yoga, I knew I wanted it in my life in a bigger way. Fall 2007, I became a certified instructor in the Bikram Yoga Method. Since then, I have continued to teach and witness many mind/body transformations. Utilizing a Bikram Method foundation, I teach a positive and energetic class benefiting both your mind and body. It is an honor to share that with as many students as possible.

Breath. Prana. The life force. Connecting to the breath and controlling the breath is the most important factor in living a happy and healthy life.  In each of my classes I will help you get connected and master your breath. This is the most important step in getting connected to your mind and body. I also offer private lessons by appointment. Please share with me your goals and intentions. My pleasure is in helping you succeed! See you in class!

Kate

Kate Lindholm -

began her study of yoga in Ashtanga and Bikram classes in 1997. After studying many different hatha styles, eventually began intense study of Iyengar yoga. Her love of the practice and strong desire to share its gifts eventually led her to the decision to teach. She has studied with such renowned teachers as Judith Hanson Lasater, Paula Self, and Aadil Palkhivala. Kate was certified in Restorative Yoga in 2005.

Kate feels that the overall environment in a good yoga class is one of relaxation and discovery. She believes strongly in respecting and honoring the unique abilities of every person, and encourages each of her students to gently test and expand their boundaries.
